Mastered by "MadMan Yohann" Seaton of MadMen Productions and SEL Construction Sound System.

Following weeks of intense competition, Arima-based singer/songwriter, Ola "Kesi" Tempro emerged as the winner of the Magnum Tonic Wine sponsored $10,000 cash prize, along with a trip to Jamaica to record with Romeich Entertainment and a performance slot at the Summer Stage Concert held in the Queen's Park Savannah last August.

Ripping up the stage with her winning "Vroom Vroom" single, @drealkesi was received warmly by patrons and growing fans of her fun, fearless personality and style. No stranger to the stage, she is currently preparing for a productive 2024 and is ready to add to the energy of Trinidad Carnival 2024.

"Get Away" is an ode to the independent women of today and speaks to their empowered status and ability to express their desires and emotions much clearer and more directly to potential suitors and even current spouses. At Carnival time, these attractive females want to feel free to dance and wine and express themselves at events and on the road and any males interrupting that free flow of energy will be dealt with harshly.

Kesi gives them advance notice and fair warning that "is Carnival and hot gyal come out to play" and suggests endearingly that they refrain from toting or being overly jealous and possessive during our annual festival.

"Doh Do Meh Dat, baby..." she croons, "Doh Do Meh Dat, boy!"

Tempro says she has more songs to release soon and is aiming to make her name in one of the Calypso tents and a few smaller all inclusive and Carnival events.

"I love my dancehall music and culture," she explained, "but I'm a Trini so of course I love my Soca too and I'm a songwriter first, so I get inspired when I hear all the fun music being made for Carnival. I'm not trying to be the next Fay Ann, Destra or Nadia though, I love and respect their contributions and I'm creating my own lane on a smaller scale for now and we will grow the brand over time. I hope the people like my songs and the DJs give me a fair hearing at least cause studio time not cheap! Lols"
